SHOT Insignia
SHOT or the Shoot Hell Obduracy Troopers is an anti-demon task force that is responsible for defending the world from paranormal threats. The Akebono City branch is the main focus of the Ryukendo series, as they deal with the forces of the Jamanga that plague the city. The Akebono branch of SHOT is located underneath the Akebono City Police Station, which can be accessed by an elevator hidden in Rin's office.
The organization makes efforts to keep the supernatural events of the city quiet to avoid panic as well as the fact that no law enforcement or officials outside of their organization would believe in something like demons as they have no way of proving its existence to people who rely on science or logic for proof.
