Yu Hayami is a Japanese singer, model and television actress. She portrayed Natsuno Nanbu/RU in Tomica Hero: Rescue Force.
Bio[]
Born in Japan, Yu's father moved his family to Guam and Hawaii for his Jazz music career and thus Yu spent part of her childhood in English speaking countries, gaining fluency in the language. She then spent her teenage and young adult years in Japan for her education. Her first big break in show business was as an idol singer for a Coca-Cola ad in 1983.
She is currently hosting the cooking/travel show Itadakimasu! Dining With the Chef on international broadcasts such as on PBS.
